【The Australian Gateball Championships 2023】Report 

September 7-10, the Australian Gateball Championships 2023 took place at the Croquet Club in Wodonga, Victoria. This tournament is an international tournament held every two years by the Australian Gateball Association. This year, doubles matches and Classi matches(5×5) match were played over four days.

The Austrian Gateball Championship 2023 came to a successful conclusion. Participating countries are Japan, India and Local Australia. The doubles tournament was played by 32 teams and the 5×5 competition was played by 18 teams.
The Winner of doubles match was the Japan “Hiroshima team”.

Doubles Winners:Hiroshima(Japan)

Doubles Runners up:Canberra(Australia)

The 5×5 competition was a heated one, with an 11-11 tie final, and the “KEW WHITE” team won the championship as a result of a sudden death gate.

Celebrating 20 years of joining the World Gateball Union, on September 9th, the welcome Dinner Party for the Austrian Gateball Championships 2023 was held. The meeting was attended by the Ex-Chairman and successive secretary general of the Gateball organization since 1999.
